Does it sound like my husband may have mouth cancer?

Need some help. My husband, who is a smoker and used to chew tobacco has 2 large red spots on his gums but they are not painful. He also drinks several 5 hour energy drinks but he works full time and studys online part-time. Does this sound like cancer or would there be more signs than that?Does it sound like my husband may have mouth cancer?
TAKE HIM TO SEE A DOCTORDoes it sound like my husband may have mouth cancer?
Start with the dentist.

';Leukoplakia'; is the premalignant lesion of oral cancer.

The ';leuko'; part means white not red for the lesions.

Doesn't sound like cancer of the mouth, but we sure cannot tell from here.

Start with his dentist.

Also, how old is he ?

We really need to know the age on this cancer site.
see a doctor.....

and if you haven't done chemo..... become a researcher and look up bob beck protocol. read his paper in its entirety, there are certain things u cannot experiment w/ such as garlic, medication, chemo, heartpacers, etc
Could be anything. But any spots or lesions in the mouth should be checked out just to be safe.
Dentists are trained to detect oral cancers. It can't hurt to have them take a look. I once heard someone say ';Cancer doesn't hurt';.
