How would my husband fight a traffic ticket in MI for obstruction of vision?

My husband recently got pulled over, and received a ticket for his radar detector being considered ';obstruction of vision';. His radar detector was just below his rearview mirror, with no wires showing.





Why is a rearview mirror not an obstruction? What is the exact rule for obstruction of vision? What if the detector was hung from the ceilling, and not the windsheild, would that be legal? Any input on how we could fight this would help.How would my husband fight a traffic ticket in MI for obstruction of vision?
try this reasoning.. how can a police officer say there is an obstruction of vision when the officer was NOT in the car and did not enter the car to see for him/herself. the obstruction in question is only an opinion to the cop. the driver could have had the seat adjusted to remove any potential obstruction.


Remember, in court, YOU are innocent, the police must prove you to be guilty. sayng the detector was in the way is not fact, but speculation, which is not a factor for determining innocense or guilt.


All your husband needs to do is create doubt. a guilty or innocent charge must be so beyond a shadow of a doubt.

HE JUST NEEDS TO GO TO COURT AND TELL THEM ALL THIS BUT MOST COPS STOP PPL OUT OF STATE FOR STUPID STUFF BECAUSE THEY NO YOU ARE NOT GONNA DRIVE 500 PLUS MILES TO FIGHT A $200.00 TICKET. SOME OF THESE COPS THINK THEY ARE ABOVE THE LAW.AND TO THE LADY BE FOR ME THE DAMN COPS NEED TO BE STOPPING PPL WHO ARE SPEEDING SHE DID NOT SAY HE WAS SPEEDING WHY DO THEY WAIST THEY TIME ON STUFF LIKE THAT WHEN THEY COULD BE DOING SOMETHING BETTER WITH OUR MONEY. AND SPEEDING DONT KILL PEOPLE STUPID DRIVERS DO!!!!

Radar detectors are illegal in most states; and in others, the police don't like them so they ticket you so you will get rid of them.
